Word for the day- "Great Is God's Faithfulness"

^{Sisters and Brothers Happy Tuesday and I hope and trust your weekend was exceptional. Having an extra day especially as a result of the incomparable Dr. King’s Birthday is like icing on the cake! As we look at today’s word it reminds us that no matter how bad our situation maybe it is only because of God, that we are here and living with things that others have been consumed by! When Jeremiah cited these words the state of Israel was in devastation and disaster in the worse possible condition as a people. But somehow Jeremiah was still able to see the Hand of God no matter how bad the condition of this particular time in Israel’s history. I encouraged you sisters and brothers to do as Jeremiah did v21”Recall in your mind” all that God has done for you up until now, and trust that he will Come through again because “Great Is God’s Faithfulness” to you (Us)! Blessings and Love always….Lamentations 3:21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:  22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fail.23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness 24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”Elder Baker}
