Word for the day: "All things are possible with God"
Mark 10:27 (NKJV)But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”Sisters and Brothers today’s word answers one of the most challenging questions you may need an answer to in your life time. Are you facing a situation that appears impossible to fix? If so I’d like to direct your attention to the words Jesus said to His disciples. The disciples became concerned that things and answers to their challenges seemed to be moving too slow and Jesus needed to fix all quickly, especially after they had given up everything to follow Jesus! Jesus said to the disciples V27 “With men this is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”Maybe you are facing an impossible situation. Maybe you have family matter, job concern, health issue, or even a habit that is driving your family crazy. Possibly you drink too much or don’t know how to control your credit card usage, marital problem, children drama. Well I have discovered such an impossible situation, seems to demand a quick fix and something needs to change immediately?Clearly, God can perform miracles and instantly handle and remove our desire for drugs or alcohol, and other destructive behavior patterns, each situation noted above. Howbeit, for most of us the changes we experience are gradual and involve tremendous effort and hard work! And if this is your present circumstance? Would you allow the words of Jesus to challenge you, as you maybe facing your difficulties to put them in God’s hands and trust in His timing? “All things are possible with God” Patience is the companion of wisdom. ~ St. Augustine ~ Elder Baker
