Word for the day " A Heart that Forgives"

Matthew 18:35 (NIV) “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”Sisters and brother’s in life the promises we make to each other give birth to the “Trust” we have in each other. People count on people who make promises. Think about it: A baby counts on their mother to be there when  their needs must be met. A wife/husband counts on one another to be there at the end of the day. A friend counts on a friend, wherever people promise to be with us in care and support. Family members depend of each other in times of need and crisis. The loyalties of friendship may not be as binding as the loyalties of family, but if a friend  let me down after promising something to me; a favor, a loan, a blessing, and in some manner let me down knowing I needed them badly is a tough pill to swallow. We can all humanly feel the hurt if the fundamental term of friendship or family has been violated and it's not easy to process. As tough as it is to say " I forgive you" it is even tougher to have “A Heart that forgives” today would you join me in saying “God help to let it go today, I don’t want to be hindered by heart that does not forgive and want to love those who have hurt me just like you "God" today! Is it time to move forward in the area of forgiveness for you today?A person who breaks a promise of loyalty violates a relationship based on a promise of trust. We cannot go on as usual in a relationship unless the wrong of it is healed. So today if the hurt you have encountered is too deep to go on as if nothing had come between (you) us. The heart that totally forgives the pain of the past is released to a freedom not known by many of us today. Yes disloyalty is not acceptable, and is offensive. Yet, we must either separate ourselves or carry the hurt alone and forgive the person or persons who has been disloyal to us.I don’t know about you “I want a heart that forgives, a heart full of love, one with compassion just like God above, one that overcomes evil with goodness and love, like it never happened at all, yes a heart that keeps on loving over and over again. A Heart that forgives is today’s message for God’s people; have a great day and thanks for your time.Elder Baker
