Word for the day: "Delivered from fear"
Psalm 34:4 (HCSB) I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. We live in a time and world that can be, at times, very frightening in every aspect of life. We live in a world that is, many times, a very discouraging place. We live in a world where we are subjected to life-changing losses that can be so painful and so profound that it seems we will never recover. But, with God’s help, and with the help of encouraging family members and friends, we can recover. Not only can we recover but we can recover all that the enemy of our souls has attempted to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).Are you willing to face your fears right now? Are you willing to cast off the chains of fear and procrastination by deciding to do what needs to be done now, not “later”? If the answer to these questions is yes, then you’re destined to build a better life for yourself and your loved ones. And the God of our salvation will help you (us) like never before to that end.Join me today in asking God for the courage to step beyond the boundaries of our (your) self-fear, and doubts. Ask God to guide you to a place where you can realize your full potential, a place where you are liberated from the fear of failure. Ask God to do His part, and promise God that you will do your part. Please don’t ask God to lead you to a “safe” place; ask our God to lead you to the “right” place, and remember: those two places are seldom the same.Quote: Charles Stanley-“When we meditate on God and remember the promises He has given us in His Word, our faith grows, and our fears desolve".Elder Baker
