Word for the day " I Don't mine Waiting"

Genesis 25:21 (NIV) Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. The Old Testament character, Esau the older of twin sons born to Isaac and Rebekah is remembered as the foolish man who sold his birthright for a little bread and some stew. Do you remember the story? Esau returned home famished and asked his brother Jacob for some food. Jacob agreed on the condition that Esau sell him his birth right an honor reserved for the oldest son in the family. (Genesis 25:21-34)I believe if Esau lived today he probably would have liked credit cards like many of us. He would not have hesitated for a moment at the idea of selling his potential, future, birthright for the opportunity to grab a bunch of hunting gear and camping supplies now. As long as he could take his purchases home with him immediately, he’d be satisfied. The reality of credit cards is that the bill ultimately becomes due, and with interest. And when you choose the immediate over the significant, tears are often the result when the payment is due, but tears will not be accepted as payment on a bill owed! We all have within us aspects of Esau and Jacob, so let’s not be too critical of them. The point is to choose Godly choices for our lives and many times the Godly choices are ones we have to wait a period of time!
