Word for the day "Flaw of Stubbornness"

Proverbs 19:20 (HCSB) Listen to counsel and receive instruction so that you may be wise later in life. Some of my best memories were generated in Red Hook projects in my youth years. I was a very willful youngster and always possessed the instinct to stand up for what I believed in. It, however, had one major flaw embedded in it, there was a stubbornness that I had to learn to manage or my good intentions were always turning out on the wrong side. Can you relate to this problem? It’s the beginning stages of leadership qualities and we need to take notice.I have since become an adult and had to deal with this problem in my life from those that I experience in my daily life. Now I am learning how to help some find their way through stubbornness and resistance for the wrong reasons. But only those who want help, some people are so willful that they can’t get out of their own way. God works like this, sometimes our personal flaws become our strengths in life to help and bring healing to others. Is stubbornness affecting your relationships? Do you get angry when someone challenges you, shares a thought contrary to your belief, or when you're required to do something you weren't planning to do? If so, stubborn resistance might be the diagnosis. There is someone reading this today saying to yourself “Wow” I know he is not going there, yes I am, please accept my words of counsel in Jesus name. The prescription? Surrender. Surrender your will and your ways to God, and often that means to that of others as well. Today’s message is for Leaders, Laity, Career minded people, parents, teachers, youth and young adults, single folks, and married couples.
