Word for the day "Turn it Over to Jesus"
Lamentations 3:18(NLT) I cry out, “My splendor is gone! Everything I had hoped for from the Lord is lost!”19 The thought of my suffering and homelessness, is bitter beyond words. 20 I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss.Would you believe that no one is exempt from suffering? The people you think deserve it the least are often the ones who face suffering the most. And you may suffer because those you love make some poor choices. Your husband may leave you, your child may struggle with addiction, or your brother may choose a homosexual lifestyle. It doesn’t matter the situation or however your heart is breaking, the Lord wants you to give your suffering and sorrow over to His Love. The Lord is the one who mends broken hearts. The prophet Jeremiah is a man who suffered and watched, as his nation was taken captive and almost completely dismantled because of its refusal to surrender to God. It's no wonder Jeremiah is known as the weeping prophet. In the book of Lamentations he cried as we read in today’s word cup, "My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the Lord is lost.If you have situation in your life personally, and you feel it is lost, I recommend you turn it over to Jesus! The Lord’s Love is just what the need calls for in this hour, have a marvelous day!
