Word for the day "We need the Fire"

Malachi (NLT) 3 He will sit like a refiner of silver, burning away the dross. He will purify the Levites, refining them like gold and silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord. 4 Then once more the Lord will accept the offerings brought to him by the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as he did in the past. The fire of the living God is represented in the Old and New Testament the same. The Lord’s Fire sears away all that is pretentious and leaves only that which is pure, only that which is true. In (Hebrews 12:29) for our “God is a consuming fire.” The Lord always seems to relate to us in ways we can comprehend. His fire is meant to bring you, beloved, into that place of closeness for which your (our) heart longs. It is a fire that burns away all that keeps you distanced from Him. It burns away impurities that are unwholesome, impure thoughts and actions. Yes, His fire is beneficial and aids you in your walk like nothing else can or ever could. So let us today rely on the Lord to place His fire on those areas of our hearts and lives that need special attention. Rely on Him to burn away all that is unholy. The Lord will do this anytime He sees something that is detrimental to our close walk with Him. I need this process to take place on a regular basis in my life. How about you? Make this declaration with me today “We need the Fire Lord” have a great day!
