Word for the day "Take a look in the Mirror"

James 1:22 (NLT) But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. It really takes courage to stand up for our beliefs, and it takes even more character to live by them. If the truth be told far too many of us spend more time verbalizing our beliefs than living by them. Especially those of us who are living for the Lord! It's a hard and challenging word for all of us today, but we need it folks, I know I do!What does your life reflect? Are your actions complimentary with your personal beliefs? And are you willing to practice what you preach? If so, your character will take care of itself. It’s called living the life you talk about. If you profess to be a child of the Lord but behave yourself as if you were not, you’re living in denial. And denial, in large doses, destroys your character. Take a glance in the mirror v.23 as today's word shares with us.So today, make certain that your actions match your life and are guided by God’s Word and by the conscience that the Lord has placed in your heart. Don’t treat your faith as if it were separate from everyday life; rather, connect your beliefs into the very context of your day. When you do, God will honor your life and your life will honor God! Have a marvelous day
