Word for the day "Strong Deliverer"
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. There’s a common misconception that being close to God means being free from problems. Some think that if you live a righteous and godly life, you’ll be immune to the trials and tribulations the rest of the world goes through. But look at what Psalm 34:19a tells us: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous.” Translation: It doesn’t matter how close you are to God; it’s not going to stop the rain from falling. Persecution, affliction, trouble, calamity, issues, whatever you want to call it; sooner or later, it’s going to happen to you! It may have already happened, may be happening now, or it will happen in the days ahead.I know if you are anything like me you are saying right now “Thanks for the inspiration my brother, this is just what I wanted to hear today!” But Hang on and read what the rest of this verse has to say: v19b “But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Not one will the Lord deliver us from, but them All!Yes, we will experience trials. Yes, our worlds may get rocked. Yes, the winds will beat against us. All of this is true. Yet there is a greater truth: The righteous person, though exposed to the world’s pain and problems, isn’t left to go through them on his own.“But our LORD” will deliver us out of whatever comes our way! No matter what we face in this life, we’re never alone. We have a strong Deliverer who stands at our side, watches our back, and prepares the journey ahead of us. Have a marvelous day sisters and brothers we have a "Strong Deliverer" on our side!
