Word for the day "Persevere On"

Hebrews 10:36 (NIV) You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. The believer’s life is a journey where we get to exercise our faith and our obedience to God’s principles for living. There will be times when you grow weary, times when you want to throw in the towel. You will surely experience pain, fear, and every imaginable emotion. You will win some battles but lose others. You may get discouraged at times when you don’t see the progress you’d like despite your diligence. But if you persevere through it all, you will sincerely honor God and find a life worth living. The words of the apostle Paul to the young disciple, Timothy, tells us a thing or two about perseverance. “Endure suffering along with me,” said Paul, “as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. And as Christ’s soldier, do not let yourself become tied up in the affairs of this life, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in His army. Follow the Lord’s principals for doing His work, just as an athlete either follows the rules or is disqualified and wins no prize (II Timothy 2:3-6).Have you ever thought of yourself as a soldier? Or perhaps as a trained and skilled athlete? Real soldier’s and athletes are disciplined; no cheating and no cutting corners. And like farmers, you work, and then wait patiently to reap the benefits of your labor. Just wanted to remind you don't give in now, don't give up now, you are almost there! The life of a believer is one of sacrifice, obedience and perseverance. We persevere in the knowledge that one day when we stand before our King and God we will know it was all worth it. Stay in the race, my sister, my brother, my friend. Persevere on and keep fighting the good fight, the Kingdom of Heaven will be worth it all.
