Word for the day "Evaluate Yourself"
Romans 7:15(NLT) I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. 16 But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. 17 So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.18 And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[d] I want to do what is right, but I can’t. 19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.Have you ever strayed from the Lord and wandered down the wrong path? Yes I in this transparent moment, I have to confess I have, I am proud of it absolutely not! What better time than this Christ-Mas season to evaluate our lives and move forward in a productive manner. At times in our relationship with the Lord, we can make mistakes and go down the wrong path. Especially at times of problems and even at times of triumphs in our life. The Lord is always willing to receive us whether we walk right or whether we stumble and don’t let anyone tell you any different family of God! God really is faithful (II Timothy 2:13 NIV)!We have to be vigilante in our life with the Lord. When we take our eyes off the Lord, we can very easily get ourselves stuck in a place where we don't want to be. That is why it is so important that God is the focus of all we do. I don’t know who today’s message is for? But the Lord loves and wants you to run to Him not away from Him (II Peter 3:9).I challenge you today to assess your direction. Is God at the center of your life and are you allowing Him to direct your path? If you are not, I urge you to do so before you get yourself stuck in a very undesirable place.Quote Bill Bright: Every day, I find countless opportunities to decide whether I will obey God and demonstrate my love for Him or try to please myself or the world system. God is waiting for my choices. For His Kingdom,Pastor James
