Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”One of the greatest burdens I have as a Pastor in the Lord's Church is, Oh Great God, how do I bring hope and comfort to people, families, even believers who are enduring great pain and suffering? Give me a message that will cancel their doubt and fear. Give me truth that will dry the tears of the grieving and put a song on the lips of the hopeless. I really have this burden family of God!The message I believe the Holy Spirit would want to share with God’s people is very simple: “Go to My Word, and stand on My promises. Renounce your doubtful feelings. Hope for the child of God is born out of God’s promises to His people! I needed to share this hope with someone reading this word cup this day.Has the enemy tried to tell you that God has bypassed you? Have you been tempted to conclude that the Lord isn’t with you? Have you almost given up your faith? Put your hope in the Lord’s Word to you: “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee” (Psalm 9:9-10).
