Word for the day "Your Calling in God's Kingdom"

Exodus 3 (NKJV) Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”God demands humility, and if the Lord is going to show you your calling in His kingdom. As long as you can do it all by yourself, you don’t need God. And if you don’t need God then it can’t be His calling because God’s calling on your life will always be greater than anything you could ever accomplish on your own.God wants you to acknowledge this truth and come humbly seeking His Divine will for your life. When you approach the Lord with your spiritual shoes off – like Moses (Note verse 5) did when he took off his shoes at the burning bush, admitting that you have no reason to be elevated in His sight, God will speak to you. and will lead you into your destiny, the purpose the Lord has divinely ordained for your life. I am learning these lessons now like never before and want to share them with you sisters and brothers! One of the greatest hindrances, to seeing a great move of God in your life is being too tied to what God did before only understanding far too often, we remember a past success or open door that God led us through and make the wrong assumption that this is something that will not change for the rest of our lives. We fail to allow for other opportunities to come our way as life goes on. Yet God is not tied to your past as much as you might be. This message is for you today my sister and my brother!Spiritual Insight - The Lord will often use steps in our lives to take us to another location. Those past decisions or options could be something that God uses to redirect your thinking, relocate you, or any number of things. A danger to discovering your destiny is being too tied to thinking that you have figured God out. He is constantly revealing His plan to us day by day and being open to hearing from Him afresh and anew is one of the most important traits that you can have as You seek His will.Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
