Word for the day "Let the children come to me"

Matthew 19:13 (NKJV) Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.Today’s challenge: Do you desire to have a growing relationship with God? Then you must approach the Lord like a child. Children have an unencumbered view of God. Even the most Biblically astute scholar can learn from one of our little ones. I have grandchildren now and boy I am learning more than I could ever imagine!Consider spending some time with a child, and ask him or her to explain the meaning of a particular verse or story to you. You'll be amazed at a child's insight and perception, and you will probably get a great laugh. Children are great learners and great teachers on life and understanding the Lord.I love the story of a mother who was teaching her three-year-old daughter the Lord's Prayer. For several evenings at bedtime the little girl repeated it after her mother. Then one night the little girl informed her mother that she was ready to go solo. She listened with pride as her daughter carefully enunciated each word right up to the end. 'And lead us not into temptation,' she prayed, 'but deliver us some e-mail. Amen.'' Have a great and wonderful day family of God!Point to ponder- The Lord wants us to be childlike not to be childish, there is a difference. In the Love of Christ,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
