Word for the day "Continue to Persevere"
James 1:2 (NKJV) Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Please consider with me, it doesn't take a genius to know that life is difficult. And it's difficult in different ways for different people. Sometimes we bring difficulty upon ourselves and sometimes it's brought upon us from other sources. Are you facing a difficulties of any kind right now in your life?It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, old or young, man or woman. Every which way you look at it. We still cannot escape the fact that life is difficult. I am learning as much as I embrace the good times of life; there is a need for me to embrace the difficult times of life as well. We have to embrace the sum total of life and when we have God in our lives, we will be just fine!Today’s Bible reading reminds us that the testing of our faith produces perseverance and that we should rejoice when we face trials of all kinds. If Godly character is something to be desired, then we should welcome difficulty. Sounds crazy, I know but it is an Imperative you need for the living of your life.Point to ponder- It’s how you handle the difficulties of life that matters.Try this: wake up each day asking God to carry you through that day's rough moments. The Lord has promised to wipe our tears away, not prevent them. So, weep when the tears come, but don't give up.In His Service,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
