Word for the day "Only God throw in the towel"

Jonah 2:6 (NIV) To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit. “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple.Don't curse or complain about the obstacles in your path, look at them as character builders. Find a way to move them, or pray your way through them. Call to mind the words of the great American educator Booker T. Washington, who said: 'I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.' Are you facing in any obstacles at this time in your life?Don't be afraid to ask for help. People are surprisingly generous with advice, especially if you take the time to befriend them first. And remember to be thankful. You may meet a mentor who'll encourage and support you for years to come. In my life all I see is obstacles in family, at work, and in Ministry, but I am confident with God I will overcome each one of them! How about you?The main thing, however, is not to throw in the towel when you encounter bumps in the road. Remember, when you're traveling up a mountain, it's the bumps you climb on. And the bumps are what lead you up the mountain. I have discovered some bumps are necessary in my journey with the Lord!Point to ponder- I love to watch boxing, but have you observed that the only person allowed to throw in the towel to end the fight is the trainer. That’s right the fighter can’t stop the fight, only the trainer can throw in the white towel. The trainer knows what the fighter can take because he/she trained the fighter. And likewise God knows what we can take, so until God throws in the towel don’t you even think about giving up. Only God can throw in the towel! For His Kingdom,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
