Word for the day "Trust in God"
Psalm 62: 5 (NLT) Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. 7 My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.8 O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Some people say there are times when we need to forgive God. This implies that God does wrong, which is never true. However, we may find it hard to place faith in God if we have at times are convinced that the Lord has let us down. Do you feel the Lord has let you down in some areas of your life? If so it's ok, but please allow me to share some insight.God is trustworthy, but we don't always know the mind of the Lord, or the reasons of the Lord, or the Lord’s ultimate intentions. We are prone to misinterpreting God’s actions in our lives. So trust does not come easy for any of us, but I am writing today to remind that you can “Trust in God”Friends, our problem with trusting God doesn't stem from the Lord's untrustworthiness. It stems from our willful, misplaced determination to stand as judges over God Himself, determining right from wrong, good from bad, and better from best. We all must be made aware of this Malfunction in our lives.Yet one thing I believe remains certain: You can trust God infinitely more than you trust yourself. So surrender to the Lord’s wisdom, love, and mercy, and stop demanding that God act as we see fit. Today’s message is real clear “Trust in God”, and have a great day!Quote Graham Greene- "It is impossible to go through life without trust; that is to be imprisoned in the worst cell of all, oneself."For His Glory,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
