I Peter 5:10 (NKJV) But may[d] the God of all grace, who called us[e] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.Do you ever think that your level of success in life is minimized by the problems and setbacks you experience along the way? Well, I am writing today because I believe that’s just not true.Our problems and setbacks don't determine the shape and direction of our lives. What problems and setbacks do, however, is reveal our Character. They show us how we respond to fear, disappointments, and failure. They reveal what level of resilience we possess; whether or not we are content to play the role of a victim; and whether we are willing to take a risk again after initial failure. What risk are you taking in your life right now? Well if you are reading this today its time for you to get back in the game!In other words, setbacks and problems can diagnose our shortcomings and call us to positive change in our life. Problems and setbacks are the crucible of character formation, and they give us perspective as we pause and evaluate what's truly important in life. And developing your Character primarily takes place in times of setbacks and problems!Point to ponder- So don't be discouraged when troubles come your way, instead hang on to your faith, God's word and ask yourself, "what can I learn from this".
