Word for the day "The Lord Loves you"

Romans 5:8 (NKJV) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.When you love someone, you will go to great lengths to secure or rescue the object of your love. You will-in the eyes of many-behave foolishly. We do this and more because of the deep love we have for our spouses, children, family, friends, etc. How about you today? How do you demonstrate your love towards those you say you love?Just think about things you have done or seen done in the name of love. People risk embarrassment, they risk safety, they risk wealth, and they risk all sorts of things for someone they love. And others of us simply will not risk anything that takes us out of our comfort zones! The greatest love story that I have ever heard is the one told many years ago on an old rugged cross. History is His Story-the story of how God the Father gave his Son to rescue us from a life of sorrow and void of hope. I love this story and our God loves us right now in this advent season like never before. Do you love God? And how do you demonstrate your love for God? In this Advent we see another aspect of our Lord's love towards us, God is with us (Matthew 1:23).Point to ponder- Did you know that God is crazy in love with you? This love however is not an act of a crush that will wear off, it is the kind of love that is all redeeming and all-encompassing and, the Lord wants you to fall in love with Him in this Christ-Mas season. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of December by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. Calvin Jackson and Elder John Miller. Why don't you take the opportunity to write us on our blog and let us know how we are doing in serving you Great people, we'd love to hear from you!Follow me on Twitter @Elder James Baker, as I endeavor to encourage and empower leaders of today and tomorrow!Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.Thank you for using the Word Cup devotionals brought to you through Grace and Truth Leadership on (Word press).
