Word for the day "The Power of Confession"

James 5:16 (NKJV) Confess your trespasses[e] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. In the Holy scriptures, the word confession” means to speak the same thing. So when it tells us to confess, it means we are to say the same thing God says, to agree with the Lord, about the attitudes and actions concerning our lives. It simply means getting real about what’s wrong and what’s right in our lives. What's your understanding of confession? As you can see, then, confession has two parts to it: speaking the truth about ourselves and speaking the truth about what God has to say about our situations. For example, if we are confessing to having a heart that loves money, we can also confess God's promise to supply our needs according to His riches in glory. What do you need to confess in your life? And remember confession is a part of our everyday walk with the Lord. Confession is being proactive in our walk with the Lord!Point to ponder – How about incorporating confession in your daily walk in this Lent season. Start saying the same thing as the Lord, and watch how the God who takes care of you will supply all your needs from His glorious riches. Have a marvelous Tuesday great people of God.Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of March 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Gertrude Scott, Mr. Domonique Gatling.
