Word for the day "We need more of God"

Matthew 5:6 (NKJV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.Whoever we are, wherever life has taken us, however much we have or lack, we hunger for more; something richer, deeper, prettier, tastier, faster-something that satisfies. We live in a world that says more is better; so what is it that you want me more of?Some people acknowledge their appetite and seek to satisfy it in socially acceptable ways: education, career, family, friends, or public service. Others grow desperate and angry, and attempt to satisfy their appetite in socially unacceptable ways: promiscuity, the misuse of drugs and alcohol, or even violence. We all have a God size void, and nothing can fill it but the Lord God. We can justify whatever we want in life, but the void will remain until submit to God size void!Point to ponder- Whichever category you fit at the end of the day, our need is the same: God. And the only way to find God is by surrendering to the Lord on a daily basis. It might not be easy for you to do, but it's very simple to surrender. I invite you to try it in this Lenten season and watch how the Lord resurrects your life beyond measure. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of March 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Domonique Gatling, Ms. Gertrude Scott, and Mrs. Angela Harrison.
