Word for the day "Authentic Character"
Romans 5:4 (ESV) And endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.My life has been filled with mistakes-my own mistakes and the mistakes of others. And in every one of those incidents, God came along, picked up the mess, and put it back together in a way that transformed it into a life lesson for faith. How has the Lord processed your life? In your life are you even aware of how the Lord is working?I can look back now and say, "It was at that very point, in the midst of my adversity, that this significant parts of my character began to grow and my relationship with God really deepened." I want you to recognize the Lord is doing the same for you. Are you aware of your process in the Lord? It's our nature to seek quick relief from pain, but today we will give the Lord a chance to unveil his purpose and process for our lives.Point to ponder- Authentic character is realized in the crucible of adversity and challenges.
