Word for the day "It takes Character to live"
Colossians 3:12 (NKJV) [ Character of the New Man ] Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering. It takes courage to stand up for our beliefs, and it takes character to live by them. Yet far too many of us spend more energy talking our beliefs than living by them-with predictable consequences. Are your actions congruent with your personal convictions? And are you willing to practice the philosophy that you preach? If so, your character will take care of itself. But if you are doing things that don't meet with approval of the person you see in the mirror, it's time to slow down, step back, and think about how your conduct is influencing your character. And denial, in large doses, corrodes character. Wanted to inform you today there is a price you have to pay for character development and living with authentic character!Point to ponder- Think about the importance of making your actions align to your beliefs. If not, think of a single step you can take today to stand up for the things you believe in.
