Word for the day "I need Love'
Ruth 3:10 (ESV) And he said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my daughter. You have made this last kindness greater than the first in that you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich. 11 And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you ask, for all my fellow townsmen know that you are a worthy woman. 12 And now it is true that I am a redeemer. There is a void and place in all us that “Needs love and wants love”! We may not want to admit it for fear of rejection, but we all are in need of love. Some of us are desperate for affection because of previous losses. We gather whatever substitutes we can find to fill that love void deep inside. But at the end of the day nothing can fill the God size void of Love! Only God can fill the God size void of Love!Part of the process of turning your life over to God involves developing healthy relationships with people and with God. We feel very vulnerable to admit, "We need love”! But it's worth the risk. If you don't satisfy your need for love in a legitimate way, you'll be driven toward depression, anxiety, addictions, or compulsive behaviors. God designed us to love and be loved. So much of the Love we need is connected to the Lord!Point to ponder- We need love great people of God: Take a look at the story of Ruth in the Bible. It's a great story about a woman who wasn't afraid to say, " I need love”.
