Word for the day "Seek the Lord"

Matthew 6:33 (NLT) Seek the Kingdom of God[e] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.Maybe you are a person who wants to walk with God but you're having a tough time. So, what do you do? Where can one start in your quest to be in a relationship with the Lord? Start with the realization that spiritual relationship  comes from God. Don't seek the experience of spiritual things, but seek the one who renews your spirit. The Lord is the starting point. When people came to Jesus to have their needs met, very often Jesus redirected their thinking. He taught them to lift their eyes from their own daily necessities and seek God first. He told them, "He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern." (Matthew 6:33).Point to ponder- So it is with your spiritual relationship. Spiritual relationship doesn't come from seeking spiritual things. That only results in a temporary emotional high lacking the true substance that God can provide. Instead, seek God and surrender your will to His. Let it be your first thought each morning when you start your day.Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of October 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Sylvia Meza, Denise Johnson and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
