Word for the day "God is in control"
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.On the highest level, God is the one who sets the order of life and has the greatest power over us. We make choices in life, but the Lord is the ultimate boss. Through the prophet Isaiah, God told us to "maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed. Blessed is the man who keeps his hand from doing any evil" (Isaiah 56).It's good to know that God is kind and just. In our daily decisions, we need to follow God's order that are found in the Bible. Hopefully, you follow those principles in a grateful response to Christ and what the Lord has done for you, not in an effort to earn your way into heaven. Remember it's time to vote on November the 8th, and God is in control!Point to ponder- Sometimes when people around us are flaunting their power, it's easy to forget who is ultimately in control. I challenge you today to obey God's order for your life. Turn your situation over to God. Happy Friday: The Lord is really in control great family and have great weekend! Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of November 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Sylvia Meza, Mrs. Denise Johnson, Mrs. Barbara Mason, Ms Sheron Farrow, Ms. Mable Bazemore, and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
