Word for the day "Giving thanks"

Psalm 100:4 (KJV) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. This time of the year is always special with the emphasis placed of giving thanks and family is such a great joy to my life. Wanted to remind you great friends to not let this time of the year slip by without some intentional, and active gratitude. There is power with God when you give thanks! In fact, unless you are deliberate, that's exactly what will happen. You will miss this great opportunity of expression and love with God. Our lives are already busy lives and even seem to be more compounded this time of year. We can be so emotionally and physically tired from all the things we do and in life that the actual "giving thanks" gets lost.Point to ponder- We were made to worship and enjoy God who has set his love upon us and lavished us with good gifts. Yet how we live our lives in Giving thanks is a fundamental indication of who we are, and who we belong to: Have a thankful spirit within your family this season! Happy Friday and give thanks. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of November 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Sylvia Meza, Mrs. Denise Johnson, Mrs. Barbara Mason, Mable Bazemore, Ms. Sheron Farrow, , Ms. Rita McGuffin  and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
