Word for the day "Do not Conform"

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.You could make the argument that we live in a troubled society. And if that’s the case, then adopting the values and priorities of our society would make us, for all intensive purposes by virtue of definition, “troubled as well”, wouldn’t it? Then why do we give in to the pressure to conform to those values and priorities? We often refer to it as peer pressure. Many of our young people struggle with this but we have some folks other than young people who struggle with peer pressure and conformity if the truth be told! Few things in life come easier than giving in to the pressure to be like everyone else. And even fewer things are more dangerous. To be a person who does not conform requires Godly strength and self-assurance.Point to ponder- Self-assurance that you know God accepts you and loves you just as you are. You don’t need to wear the latest fashions, have the hair color and style of the day, or drive the make and model of car you think will satisfy that desire to be in the in the mix. There’s truly only one thing that satisfies our lives that is a right relationship with God. Wow God is great family of God and have a fantastic day!Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of September 2017 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. David Straker, Mrs. Annette Straker, Ms. Rita McGuffin, Ms. Gertrude Scott Mrs. Barbara Mason and Mrs. Shakeema Lowe.
