Word for the day "Waiting on the Lord"

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.More times than not life demands patience, and lots of it! We live in an fractured world inhabited by imperfect people. Sometimes, we inherit troubles from others, and sometimes we create trouble for ourselves. In either case, what’s needed and required is patience. But, for most of us, waiting patiently for God is difficult. Why? Because we are fallible human beings, sometimes quick to anger and sometimes slow to forgive. Living in a time when everything is at your disposal makes waiting the last option for so many of us!Point to ponder- The next time you find your patience tested to the limit, remember that the world unfolds according to God’s timetable, not ours. Sometimes, we must wait patiently, and that’s as it should be. After all, think how patient God has been with us.Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of November 2017 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Calvin Jackson, Mrs. Annette Straker, Ms. Ollie Tipton, Ms. Jacqueline Frazier, and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
