Word for the day "Your first Love"
Revelation 2:4-5 (NKJV) Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. The quest for love and permanent security in relationships is deep within all of us. Although we may be in a relationship where we are loved, we may at one time or another deeply fear the loss of that love. This is especially true if we’ve been abandoned in the past or had our love betrayed.Love is really what the world needs now more than ever. We all can see the absence of Godly love in our World, families, homes, churches, etc. I believe the Lord is still waiting on all of us to return to our first love, and that is God clarion call to all of us in this hour. Where are you in the call to Love the Lord family of God?We are all challenged by a deep need for a real love, a secure love that won’t betray us. When we lose a close and intimate relationship, we become heartbroken. No matter how much a person loves us, our needs seem deeper. Perfect love that never leaves can only be found in the one who is Love.Point to ponder- The real love always begins with the Lord great people. We can’t control what others may do with love for us. But we can be confident in the Love of the Lord our God always! Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of March 2018 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Annette Straker, Mr. David Straker, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Gloria Teel, Ms. Yvonne Bazemore, and Gertrude Scott.
