Word for the day "What's your understanding of Leadership?"

Joshua 1:16 (NKJV) So they answered Joshua, saying, “All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go. 17 Just as we heeded Moses in all things, so we will heed you. Only the Lord your God be with you, as He was with Moses.

The influence of leadership is exponential, and we must pray for them, whether they are our choice or not.

The influence of leadership on the lives of people can be good and sometimes bad.It has been my recent observation in the circles I travel to remain vigilant and filled with Godly values.Even if at times I may not measure up to the challenge, one thing that is for certain it is God who authorizes leadership of any kind.Even President Trump must be included in the prayers people of God.There is a measure of grace given by the Lord for those in his or her assignment of leadership.

We must learn the gift of encouraging the leaders in our lives now.

Joshua was well trained by Moses when he took over leadership of the nation of Israel, but that was no guarantee of success. In fact, Joshua failed when he acted without first seeking God’s counsel (Read Joshua Chapter 1).To encourage him, the leaders of the tribes prayed for him, saying, “Only may the Lord your God be with you as he was with Moses.”When was the last time you encouraged your leader? Or are you one who encourage other leaders rather than your own?

Be mindful that being in leadership does not guarantee successful outcomes.

We can do no greater thing for our leaders than to pray for them. This includes leaders at every level of our society, including our families.Word for the day "What's your understanding of Leadership?"No child of God can succeed at God’s work apart from prayer. It is one of those great Virtues of the people of God.Even our leaders of families, churches, workplace, can make mistakes but our prayers will sustain them in the Grace of God!
