Word for the day "Relationships matter"

II Samuel 8:15 (MSG) Thus David ruled over all of Israel. He ruled well—fair and even-handed in all his duties and relationships.

The power of relationships can make or break you in life’s journey.

On a normal basis, I don’t have any problems relating to people. Usually, I don’t ever get irritated or upset with anyone: as long as I’m alone.

It’s scary how easy life is when I’m alone and isolated. The worst in me can lie dormant for years as long as there’s no one around to awaken the sleeping giants inside of me.

It may be true that a life of isolation is easier, but it’s also emptier. When you don’t have to face who you really are, you grow comfortable and stop developing into what God wants for you and your destiny.

We must be keenly aware of our own limitations if we are going to be the best version of ourselves.

 Every leader has one thing in common, you’re constantly looking to improve. Not only is this true in the business world, but it applies to all facets of life from ministry church to the marketplace.

From financial planners to doctors, apprentice workers to paralegals, community advocates to parents, and everything you can imagine.

There are great things we can accomplish when we become willing to be the best version of ourselves.

In fact, the Bible has a lot to say about relationship development, too. Here are a few:

• 1 John 4:16 Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them
• " Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
• 1 Peter 4:8: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
• John 15:12: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you."

First, know who you are. Whenever people are on the road to growth personally and professionally, they tend to think of change as something they do if they’re a failure.

But I would say that you ought to think of change when you’re functioning successfully because that’s when you can grow exponentially.

As for me, when I’m in isolation my life is an accident waiting to happen. I strongly believe we are built by the Lord relationally, and to be connected to people and having people, family, friends connected to us.

Point to ponder

You may think isolation is the way life is meant to be. But disconnecting has never been a part of God’s plan for your life.

Life is about relationships, relationships with God and with one another the heart of God.

Our world needs wise, strong, principled, and empathetic leaders more than ever before. We need individual leaders in ministry and the marketplace who prioritize relationships with people.
