Word for the day: “Make sure you have clarity on your assignment”.

Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom: and in all your getting, get understanding.

  Good morning, Leaders,

Be sure you understand your leadership assignment. Understanding the assignment God has for your life will literally be a game-changer. Whatever you are called to do as you serve: in the community, in the church, in the marketplace, in your business, it’s time to be clear on your assignment and purpose.

ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR ASSIGNMENT IS GREATER THAN YOU.

When God gives you an assignment, it is not just for you; being clear on your assignment will enable you to execute it in God's power and favor. For so long, I have been limiting my prayer life to asking God to bless me instead of focusing on my purpose in this generation.

I decided to ask God. "Dear God, what is my assignment for this generation.”  Now I pray daily for my daughter and grandchildren because I know deep down in my heart, I need God's favor and blessings to flow upon my whole household.   I encourage you to pray for your entire household daily for the blessings and favor of God to flow in the same direction as your God-given assignment.

When God gives you an assignment, it will be bigger than what you can do in your natural power. If our accomplishments in life are attained solely through our own human abilities, then we are not living up to the potential that God has placed within us through the power of His blessings and favor.

THE LORD IS THE ULTIMATE GIVER OF YOUR GIFTS AND ASSIGNMENT.

Today, I serve in communities where inequities permeate, in ministries where leaders need encouragement and empowerment, and in the marketplace, where they need to know that God is with them, because I’m keenly aware of my assignment and that God desires to bless you and everyone around you.

So, let’s do our part, learn our crafts, and get our educational understanding. But be advised that God will give you knowledge and wisdom that no human can get alone. You are not limited to scholarly knowledge. God will give you some insights that school and social media cannot provide.

God will reveal things in your spirit that no other person will ever know. May you begin to learn and trust what God has deposited in your spirit. For the Holy Spirit guides you into all truth (John 16:13). He will keep you on course so that you will receive all that God has for you and the people you serve.

When you understand your assignment, you activate credibility, character, and competency in the work you provide to this generation. Believe me, today, understanding your assignment strengthens and brings life and blessing to everything the Lord says and does in your life and in the lives of others.

I’ll be praying for you as you seek more diligently to embrace and understand your assignment.
