Word for the day “Prayers in the times of mass shootings”

Beloved leaders,

We here at Grace and truth leadership are committed to praying for our country, our leaders, and you. In times like these we need a leadership to function in a real way to the world we live in. With the proliferation of gun violence across our country and most recently:

There were at least 10 mass shootings in the US since Friday June 3rd, following several back-to-back massacres in recent weeks. In Philadelphia, three people died and 11 others were injured over the weekend after gunfire rang out at a popular entertainment district, officials said. Three others were killed and at least 14 were injured in a shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Eight people were shot at a high school graduation party in Summerton, South Carolina, with one person killed. Several other shootings forced various law enforcement entities to remain on alert across the country. This takes place as bipartisan talks on gun legislation are ongoing and pending legislation but previous attempts in Congress to pass major gun regulation measures have either stalled or failed.

But kingdom people and kingdom prayers aren't just something we embrace to improve the world around us. They come with a promise and benefits that God is with us even in the chaos. They come with blessings. By aligning your thoughts, words and actions with God's word, you will receive the peace, comfort and purpose you are in need of during this very disheartening time.

Special thanks!
