Word for the day “The Lord gives power”

John 1:12 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave them power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Dear beloved leaders,

As we move into another day in life’s journey, we can get discouraged so often with the reality of the time we are living in can literally make you feel alone and abandoned. However, the amazing faithfulness of God reminds us today that we are never alone. God knows all things and God sees all things and at just the right time God will come to the rescue you from any, and all circumstances that perhaps are holding you back from your purpose.

I’ve discovered that the “Just shall live by Faith in God” (Habakkuk 2:1). Jesus teaches us how we ought to live as the children of God.  The bible puts it like this, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave them power to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

It may seem challenging and difficult right now, but if there is any lesson to be learned in this challenging season, it is this: God is still on the throne!  At this stage in our life’s process, I want to remind you, your power and strength is on the way.

It doesn't matter how traumatized you feel, God can turn it around!  No difficulty is permanent.  There is always an opportunity to get back on course, and turn your life around!  Allow God's voice and power to bring peace to your storms, to bring assurance to your doubts and to bring Grace to your faults. Always remember in this season “The eyes of the Lord is watching over you”, “God's favor is shining upon you”.  And know and believe “All things are working together for your good” (Romans 8:28).

Point to ponder

Be reminded to trust the faithfulness of God in this challenging season, and be assured we are going to be alright because, God is still on the throne.
