Word for the day: “Time to focus on your future”.
Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV) The Lord appeared to us in the past, [a] saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Good morning, Leaders,
One of the deepest joys of being a faith leader and believer is that you have direct access to God. I have heard from many people who see their failures, sins, and mistakes as the end of their story. Often, we can believe that because we’ve messed up, we are no longer in God's plans. We can even believe our shortcomings will cause God to lose love for us. However, God's love isn't erratic, unlike the love of people. When you make a terrible mistake, you might lose the love of friends and family, but God will still be standing right there, ready to wipe your tears.
TIME TO FOCUS ON YOUR FUTURE.
I don't know what you're going through right now, but I hope you have your eyes firmly fixed on your future. Focusing on your future means moving beyond yesterday's mistakes. The enemy wants you to be so consumed by your pain that you don't prepare a way into the plan and promises of God for your life. But you can declare that today is the day to start building for my future.
Don't waste any more time trying to run away from God to hide your flaws. God Loves You Perfectly, just the way you are. Come to God in open, honest vulnerability, and God will embrace you with a love that is powerful enough to heal all your wounds and pain.
POINT TO PONDER
Let today be the end of your hiding. Embrace who you are and run back to the God of your salvation. I promise you, God loves you just the way you are
