Word for the day “Your labor is not in vain.”
I Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Good morning Leaders,
I know that many of you reading today's GATL devotional email are leaders. You are responsible for your families, careers, businesses, ministries, and have to make difficult decisions every day. One of the challenges of being a leader is that other people think that what you do is easy. But, I’m of the humble opinion if it were easy everybody would be a leader and unfortunately, this is not the case.
People often don’t understand the price you pay and the pressure you feel being a leader, and how you stay up at night concerned about other people. I write this daily message because I know some of you personally and we’ve discussed the highs and lows of the leadership journey. We are here for you at GATL, and I know so many of you who are doing the best you can, taking care of your families, doing all you can, but many times feeling neglected by those around you.
When you are a leader, the reality and truth are it’s so easy for people to take you for granted in your service of leadership. But I’m writing today to remind and encourage you: Your labor is not in vain!!!! GATL assignment is to share and speak a relevant word into your life and I know in this time of challenge, God has a special message for leaders. On Tuesday evenings in the month of September and part of October 2021, I’ve shared a message called “Win Anyway” We are living in difficult days and if you are going to become who God has destined you to be, you must stay committed to the assignment God has placed over your life.
You can join our leadership zoom call and be a part of what the Lord is saying and doing. While you are leading, know that God is with you, giving you the power to overcome every challenge. I believe the Lord is with us and will help us “Win Anyway” overcome and be victorious.
Quote: Servant leaders don’t think less of themselves; they just think of themselves less. #JamesBaker
