Revelation 19:16 (NASB) And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OFLORDS.”In the Book of Revelation Apostle John saw a vision of Jesus. And he describes Jesus by His nature and position as King of Kings and Lord of Lord over all dominions in the earth. So, essentially you can see that God’s original mandate was to rule and reign on the earth via His creation. His purpose and mission wasn’t simply for man to receive salvation. Clearly, salvation was only the initial point of the process. His ultimate purpose was for man to rule by His grace, love, and power in order to be a testimony of His love to the world He created.In fact, Jesus’ death and resurrection wasn’t only to save mankind from something. Christian leader Gabe Lyons shares the Kingdom insight that Jesus wanted to save Christians to something. Sisters and brothers it is my Kingdom view, that God’s people are not only waiting for His return but are participating in the process of restoring the whole earth now for His glorious return. We the people of God must embrace the Godly truth that our purposes are beyond attending Church on Sunday and during the week. We must recognize that Christ’s redemptive work is not the end of purposes; redemption is the beginning of our purposes in God’s mandate of restoration in our lives and in the world.Prayer- Dear Jesus, King of King and Lord of Lord, we your people thank you for choosing us to serve as instruments in your Kingdom plan in the earth.
