Word for the day: "Being sure"
Hebrews1:1(TNIV) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.Faith determines our relationship with God, and how we deal with Him and how we see Him in our life. Faith grabs hold of the truth in God’s Word and is energized and inspired by His holy fire. We have times where our Faith is in a complacent place and can feel deactivated when we need it the most. Have you ever felt this way in your Faith?God is the great objective and hope of our faith, for faith resides its whole weight on His Word. Faith in God is not an aimless act of the soul, but a looking to God and trusting the integrity of His promises. To me Faith in God is the heart of our relationship with the Lord. How are you doing with your Faith in God? Don’t worry you can take it slow and don’t have to worry about living up to anyone else’s standards in this area of your life.Just remember according to Jesus in the scriptures all you need is a little faith, Matthew 17:20“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Faith is not believing just anything or anyone person. It is believing God, resting in Him and trusting in the declaration of His timeless Word. Have a great day “Being Sure” of our God!Prayer: Father God, it is our deepest desire to be conscious of You all the time. Please increase our faith so that we will always look to You and rest in the integrity of Your promises, In Christ name Amen.Elder Baker
