Word for the day: "Strength from the Lord"
Psalm 68:28 (GWT) Your God has decided you will be strong. Display your strength, O God, as you have for us before. The Lord deposits unto us that primary strength of character which makes everything in life work with intensity and decision. We are strengthened with might by his Spirit in our inner man. And the strength is perpetual; reserves of power come to us which we cannot exhaust. Only God can do this people of God!As thy days, so shall thy strength be, strength of will, strength of affection, strength of judgment, strength of ideals and achievement. "The Lord is my strength" to go on. He gives us power to move on, to walk the long path that seems never to have a turning point, to go through those long hard places of life which does give us a happy ending. I call this real talk!"The Lord is my strength" to go up. He is to me the power by which I can climb the Mountain of Difficulty and not be afraid. "The Lord is my strength" to go down. It is when we leave those scary heights, to come down the mountain into closer and more familiar territory, that we must be extra careful and not faint or lose focus. Have a strengthening day in the Lord sisters and brothers!
