Word for the day "Time to be on the front lines"

Proverbs 26:13 (TLB) The lazy man won’t go out and work. “There might be a lion outside!” he says. 14 He sticks to his bed like a door to its hinges! 15 He is too tired even to lift his food from his dish to his mouth!Willing servants will not be afraid of “the lion out on the streets.” The lazy child of God says, “There is a lion outside and I’ll be slain in the street if I go out there.”Is there a lion out in the streets? If you haven’t noticed, Yes! A roaring lion seeking to devour(I Peter 5:8). But the Spirit-filled servants are not afraid of any lion. Before I realized the Lord’s call on my life and to the pastorate, the devil tried to put fear in my heart. I had seen the challenge of trying organize people for the Lord, and making an effort with folks that would never make the same effort towards me. It was like Satan said, “You’ll never be able to organize teach and help get people equipped, and filled with the Spirit of God for what’s in your Heart for the Lord in these times!” But Jesus commanded, “Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind” (Luke 14:21).We are not afraid!I think of how wonderful it must be to live in a quiet, secluded place, and many have that privilege. But there are growing numbers of Christians “taking to the hills” simply to hide out. The lion has chased them and they are seeking a place of security, comfort, and no challenge. I have already been through that way of thinking. Gary North, a leading reconstructionist, wrote a book entitled Government by Emergency, in which he warns Christians to stockpile goods and guns, and then get ready to hide out and protect their possessions. The list he recommends includes liquor and tobacco to bribe (he calls it “barter”) law officials in a time of anarchy. These are those who will cry out for the rocks and the mountains to hide them from His wrath (Revelation 6:16). “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it" (Matthew 16:25). Are you comfortable in your life, just cool with going to work and coming home every day? Please look around if you don’t fight on the front lines who will? This Spirit-filled, last-days Church will not hide, but will be on the front lines, fighting a good fight and bringing in a harvest of souls. Would you help me pray for my Ministry Grace and Truth and other Ministries trying to fight the good fight of faith in these times. Unfortunately, for me a movie, dinner, and same ole same ole is not what the Lord has in my Heart at this stage of my life! What’s in your Heart? What does the Lord have you on the front lines to do? Or are you on the front lines? Are you making a difference where you are?Point to ponder- We have lions of injustices in our justice system, we have loins of people around us who are comfortable with being on the sidelines, We have lions of those around us who are only concerned with them and their own situations. Is it possible you could make a difference in your community, family, or even our country America? Be the change you want to see in our world, It’s done on the front lines!Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
