Word for the day "Dream Big"

Genesis 40:5 (NLT) One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. 6 “Listen to this dream,” he said. 7 “We were out in the field, tying up bundles of grain. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles all gathered around and bowed low before mine!” 8 His brothers responded, “So you think you will be our king, do you? Do you actually think you will reign over us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them. 9 Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it. “Listen, I have had another dream,” he said. “The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!”10 This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him. “What kind of dream is that?” he asked. “Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?” 11 But while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered what the dreams meant.Have you ever heard or seen footage of Dr. Martin Luther King’s, "I have a Dream speech"? All I know is every time I hear or see the footage of this amazing speech; I am excited and especially grateful for his perseverance concerning social justice in America. Even though today in America, we are still challenged with serious challenges in our social justice system particularly in the Black community. We will most certainly always remember and admire Dr. King for his Dream and commitment to dare to see the world in radical way. Do you dare to Dream about something different, or do you "day dream" your life away? But what if Dr. King had allowed life's difficulties to get in the way of his passion for justice for all, and his life's work of which he was willing to die for? We all face difficulties and we all can live, and have dreams of something different than what is. What's the difference between average men and those who rise to greatness? I propose the word is called “Perseverance” and those who dare to Dream. If a project is worth pursuing, it will require initiative, energy, and endurance. One protest and one speech sure didn’t bring the Nobel peace prize to Dr. King. And Dr. King didn’t pen the "I have a Dream" speech relaxing at home or merely going to work every day looking for overtime. Any accomplishment worth attaining requires sustained effort and facing serious obstacles'. You must persevere to see your dream through, I am going keep on dreaming, and social justice is in my heart for all mankind! I am also dreaming of having a vibrant Kingdom Ministry for the Lord and that’s going to happen even if it cost my life! In fact, its already happening a little at a time.Point to ponder- It’s important to remember to "Dream big" and don’t be a person, who lives your life as a Day Dreamer, it can be a costly mistake. Be careful who you share your dreams with; they maybe dream killers in disguise. Please carefully read the story of Joseph in today's scripture, and dare to Dream big!Quote- Martin Luther King Jr.: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”For His Glory,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
