Word for the day "It's worth fighting for"

Romans 5: 3-5 (MSG) There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit! There are some things worth fighting for in life. When I consider the history of Black Americans and see the progress that has been in the pursuit of equality with all mankind. I see a people who have endured great trial and tribulations to be recognized as mere human beings in our United States of America. The same can be said for our Jewish brothers and sisters in their quest through the holocaust, they just wanted to be recognized as humans. Often our greatest battles in life are merely to be recognized as human beings: this same battle is in our workplaces, our communities, and the World we live in.I can't help but wonder whether those who lost their lives would’ve chosen the pain filled life of trail blazers had they known ahead of time the suffering they would have endured. If not, the world would have missed the blessing of this timeless reality of World history, and that is "some things are just worth fighting for". Don't know who this message is for today, but keep on figting to make a difference, in your own life, in the lives of others, and in the world we live!Like many civil rights leaders who lost their lives in the battle for equality for all mankind. We must continue the fight today my dear family and friends, we don't know what our future holds. But we can be confident that God does, and that the Lord uses every hardship to mold our character and accomplish a plan that remains perfect despite our inability to comprehend it. I pray that today you persevere in that certain hope, and if you are on the sideline let this message be the impetus that awakens your heart. Have a great day in the battle "It’s worth fighting for".Quote John Quincy Adams (1767-1848) “Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.”For His Glory,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
