Word for the day "Jesus is here to heal you"

Luke 5:31-32 (MSG) Jesus heard about it and spoke up, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I’m here inviting outsiders, not insiders—an invitation to a changed life, changed inside and out.”Did you know that drug and alcohol abuse is a huge problem in our world today. In fact, over 18 million Americans have alcohol problems. More than 9 million children currently live in homes with an alcohol-dependent parent. And more than half of all American adults have a family history impacted along the way by alcoholism. Think about this staggering statistic it’s really a tragedy. Today's message is the heart of the abuse tragedy "Jesus is here to heal you" in any problematic area of your life!Half of all American adults have drug and alcohol abuse in their family history. This is significant because alcohol abuse isn't an individual problem. And it doesn't end when the alcoholic passes away, leaves, or even sobers up. Alcoholism affects both the alcoholic and everyone who loves him/her. In fact, any addiction hold the same truths.Point to ponder- Please note, within each of us lies the capacity to grow and shift the way we act and feel. And that doesn't mean that God will give us peace from the storms of life. The  Lord our God will instead give us peace in the midst of the storms of life. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of August 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Gertrude Scott, Ms. Divinia Stewart, Ms. Norma Hernandez and Ms. Vanessa Gaskins.
