Word for the day: "God is sitting on the Throne"

Isaiah 6:(NIV) In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”Today we can trust our lives and our love ones into the hands of our God because he is “Sitting on the Throne” and on the throne of our lives. When you find yourself discouraged or worried or afraid, just remember that the Lord is v1“Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne”. This is the secret of peace and joy in the midst of a troubled world. This is how the prophet Isaiah found strength when his world fell apart. The nation of Judah was ruled by a godly King Uzziah, a man who did wonders for his people. But one day, King Uzziah died; and Isaiah thought everything was over.Have you ever experienced this in your life? Isaiah tells us about it in the sixth chapter of his prophecy: v1“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.” What a sight that must have been! The throne on the earth was empty, but the throne in heaven was filled. On earth the people were mourning, but in heaven the seraphim were praising God saying, v3“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” This is absolutely incredible people of God.This vision of God of the throne of God transformed a young Isaiah; it made him a new man of God. Instead of sitting and complaining about life, Isaiah dedicated himself to God in a new way unlike any other time in his life. He went out and started witnessing the message of God to all people and did this for the rest of his living days in the earth. Have a fantastic day with the confidence that “God is Sitting on the Throne"Elder Baker
