Word for the day: Pt 2 "Time to win some souls"

Isaiah 58:1 (AMP) 1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.As I stated on yesterday the church has gotten away from doing what is most important and that is winning soul’s for the Kingdom, getting God’s people ready for his return. We are too caught up in the prosperity preaching, the word of faith preaching, the new age teaching, but what about preaching Heaven and Hell, Truth of the matter is when you die you will spend eternity in either place and trust me whatever worldly possessions you have achieved, you can’t take it with you! (So why set your sights on earthly treasure)It saddens my heart to see what some churches have become. What happened to singing being a ministry without a price tag, where artist would come just to sing so people would be blessed. Preachers ran revivals for the sole purpose of winning souls, taking whatever offering God provided, because it was about GOD not the money. What has happened to us as a people?It’s time to get back to the old-time way, Where are the people who will cry loud and spare not? Where are the elite of God that who will take the streets as foot soldiers proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ? We need more revivals, street meetings, and tent meetings that are geared to reaching the lost. We need more Preachers, Teachers, Ministers, Worship leaders, Psalmist, to start using their gift to reach the lost not to entertain for monetary gain. This is not about religion it’s about relationship, a relationship with Jesus Christ! Everyone needs to have one. What are we going to do about it?There is a song that rings in my ear from back in the 70’s and the lyrics go something like this “If the Lord would come today what would he find you doing, would he find you praying, would he find you sleeping, or would he find you lost in this world. Can God count on you, can he trust in you, to be standing firm on his word. If he came today would you be ready to go”.Let’s get back to what’s important so we can all be ready to go when he reutrns.
