Word for the day: “Time to level up your leadership.”
Proverbs 18:16 (NKJV) A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
BELOVED LEADERS AND SUBSCRIBERS,
The year 2025 has been especially mentally challenging for me, and I know the same is true for many of you leaders. So today, let's take a quick review of how you think as a leader. Also, let’s look at some ways you can allow your leadership giftings to make room for you and enable you to level up.
I've discovered there are at least four types of thinking that can sabotage your leadership destiny:
Not being fully vested in your leadership journey.
Not having a growth mindset and a sense of motivation in your leadership.
Not having a competent person or people to walk alongside you in your leadership process.
Not having the right accountability network in your leadership journey (perhaps the most lethal).
Awareness of your sabotaging characteristics.
Looking Ahead: “The capacity to develop and improve their skills distinguishes leaders from followers.” Warren Bennis and Bert Nanus, here are a few considerations for clear thinking moving forward:
The importance of casting vision during times of crisis.
Establishing healthy relational boundaries in leadership, ministry, and business.
Taking the time to address personal hardships and pain while leading.
